101 in 1001 days (from '06)

Here is my first 101 in 1001 days list, created in 2006... this list changed my life!
(I've deleted some of the boring ones off the list to save reader boredom...)


101 things to do in 1001 days.

COMPLETED ITEMS
1. go on an aerobatic joy flight 
Got to take off plane myself and steer for a while. Good fun!

2. eat falafel
- Had several times now and even made my own!

5. Go to New Zealand
- awesome, will definitely go again.

6. Lose 10 kilos
- lost 17... gained it back and then some. [read: lost unhealthily...]

7. see the snow again
- in NZ


10. Go a month without ANY junk food 
- ended up gaining 3 kilos :S

11. Go in a Hot Air Balloon
- awesome experience.

12. Go White Water Rafting
- not that great really, but nice scenery

14. Go on a road trip
- down south

16. buy a car

22. Donate blood once.
- donated four times, till they told me I shouldn't because my veins are too small. Pfft.


26. Join a Gym - if only for a short while to see if its for me
- still have the membership.


32. get black belt in kickboxing

35. Take a friend out to lunch, and pay for them

36. Learn to read music properly.


42. Go hiking up a mountain
45. Read all of Chronicles of Narnia 
52. go for a walk in the middle of the night with a friend

60. try something which sounds gross/and or has ingredients I dislike in a restaurant
- this was actually pretty hard, because our parents have brought us up to be very adventurous and I hardly ever saw anything I'd never tried or found gross!

62. try yoga or pilates
75. go to a concert
80. take another contiki tour
83. try a cocktail with a silly name
85. watch a sunrise or sunset from somewhere high up

86. do a tequila shot
- ewwwwwwwwww

87. learn to shoot a gun
- shot about five different kinds now

88. learn how to play chess (still hate it)

89. learn to cook something really complicated (bombe alaska, and there was something else but I forgot what it was...)
